In 2020, CI made the insightful decision to unify all of their large Toronto locations and lease out their offices. Approximately 2/3 of the space underwent major or minor renovations, architecturally and/or furniture-wise. A new striking executive area was incorporated on the 8th floor. The project involved a strong focus on reusing existing furniture and graphics and optimizing spatial utilization. 

Desk furniture that had been reused since 1999 was further reconfigured into benching-style seating, supporting a new agile work environment. More collaboration areas, phone booths, and chat rooms were added throughout. Existing space received color updates, and the executive area created is a light and warm space that upholds the CI standard for quality while feeling modern and inviting.
